McAvoy Shower Room PODs to be used in New Acute Hospital
FCCElliott Healthcare selects McAvoy Shower Room PODs for New Acute Hospital for the South West.
The McAvoy Group will supply 175no Shower Room PODs to the New Acute Hospital which will service the South West of Northern Ireland. Located just outside Enniskillen, the Hospital is currently being built by FCCElliott Healthcare.
McAvoy Group developed the Shower Room POD in conjunction with FCCElliott and their architects Anshen & Allen. The POD has been developed from the original tender stage design through to the approved construction design. The PODs are fully HTM Compliant. The POD is designed as a Wet Room Shower Room POD. The floor has an anti-slip vinyl laid to fall to a stainless steel floor drain. The wall coverings are also vinyl which ensures there is a complete vinyl seal floor to ceiling. IPS Panels are fitted at the WC and Basin wall to ensure quick and easy access to the plumbing services. TMV3 Anti Scald valves are used in the Shower and Basin Mixers to prevent against scalding, with flow return plumbing work to guard against legionella in the hot water pipes.
